The mission of Michigan Neighborhood Partnership (MNP) is to assist community and faith-based organizations in the Metropolitan Detroit area to strengthen individuals, families and communities through social, economic and youth development. MNP supports the role that neighborhood and faith based organizations play in their neighborhood by: 1) continually supporting improvement of their organizational capacity, 2) establishing collaborative relationships that produce the human and financial resources needed to create and manage projects, 3) providing technical assistance to address specific community or organizational concerns, and 4) seeking and developing collaborative programs or bet practice models that can be shared across several neighborhoods. Michigan Neighborhood Partnership believes that social and economic development begins with the individual and family, their values, their support systems and their ability to access community resources.
