S.T.A.N.D.

There’s a common thread that runs through practically every neighborhood – the rising number of foreclosures. It affects all communities, ethnic groups and all economic levels. But STAND – Strategizing to Adopt a Neighborhood in Detroit – was developed to combat housing vacancies with a collaborated effort to promote neighborhood re-populating. Our S.T.A.N.D. community advocates work closely with area CDC’s to develop a comprehensive approach to promote their communities through homeownership and community investment.
